Product Details

This is one of our best selling products.

The kit is so lightweight and compact that it could be carried around in a toolbox. Connect it to your drill, and you are ready to go in seconds.

Remove hard incrustations such as urine scale, lime scale, cement or tile grout easily, and with the same kit, you can clear soft blockages.

This kit is meant for smaller pipework such as basin, shower and bath tub waste water pipes.

The stainless steel chains have hard steel bits fused to the chain links, so it is more suitable for clearing cast iron drain pipes.

The shaft in this kit is 6mm (1/4") in diameter which has the perfect blend of rigidity and flexibility to navigate through multiple bends whilst simultaneously preventing the shaft coiling on the inner diameter of the pipework.

The shaft has no sleeve bearing that could get caught up on sharp bends or elbows.

The chemical resistant sleeve that houses the shaft will assist in protecting surfaces like porcelain, so you need not remove a toilet pan when you want to reach a soft blockage in close proximity to the toilet bowl.

The kit includes:

  • 6mm (1/4") Flexible shaft - NO bearings
  • Rotator shaft socket to connect the flexible shaft to your power drill
  • Mini Drain Chain 40-50 mm pipe 6mm (1/4") with hard al tips
  • X-Tip Sewer Cleaning Chain (without Drill head) - 32mm (1,26")
  • X-Tip Sewer Cleaning Chain (without Drill head) - 50mm (2")

Product pictures may vary in colour and design depending on the size and diameter that you order

Please lubricate your shaft before using it. Aviation law prohibits us from delivering products which could be considered flammable so we send the shafts without lubricant in the sleeve.

Before you order the longest length possible, consider this:

Most experienced users order the kit with a short shaft for everyday use and supplement it with a secondary shaft and connector. The advantage to this is that on a day-to-day basis, you carry less with you into your workspace, then if you need extra length you can fetch your secondary shaft from your vehicle and connect it to the one you are working with. A second advantage to having two separate shafts is that should you accidentally kink the one you are working with then you have a backup available immediately.

The 6mm shaft delivers best performance in lengths under 15 meters (49.21ft). Longer lengths are more suitable for softer blockages such as grease traps.
